Glaucoma is a disease of the optic nerve which can lead to a loss of peripheral vision. There are several different types of glaucoma and the management of the disease depends on the type of glaucoma and amount of damage.

Glaucoma can be managed by eye drops that lower the intraocular pressure but in some cases more aggressive treatment is indicated or various surgical interventions may be a better alternative.

Our doctors work with each individual case and if can refer patients to a glaucoma specialist as needed for surgical intervention.
